P G Krishna Veni, also known as Jikki was an Indian playback singer. She was born in Tamilnadu, Chennai on November 3rd, 1935. She gave her voice as a playback singer in various languages: Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and Sinhala languages. Her husband’s name was A M Rajha who was a playback singer and music director. As a child artist, Jikki debuted in the year 1943 in a film called Panthulamma. In the year 1948, with the film called GnanaSoundari, she began her singing career. The films like Manadesham, Pataala Bhairavi, Mayabazar Shivagange, and some of the most popular movies in which she had worked. She was honoured the Ugadi puraskar by the Madras Telugu academy and by the government of Tamilnadu she received Kalai Ma Mani.  On August 16 2004 Krishna Veni died in Chennai.
